Old English pere, common North and West Germanic, from Vulgar Latin *pira, feminine singular of pira, plural of pirum, pear. It is believed that pear leaves were smoked in Europe before tobacco was introduced.

 

 

Home Bureau – Pyrus Nivalis EP

Home Bureau create systems which allow them to be free. In this case, an infinitely variable machine system was created allowing Home Bureau to dance and eat pears while the machine was writing these two pieces. The results sound something like dance music, as if techno was invented by poly-rhythmic Troglodytes with drum machines found living in isolation on a small island off the Ivory Coast.
